Donations

We need your help to put a stop to the suffering of dogs and cats in Guatemala!

We are happy to receive both financial donations and donations in kind. At present we need metal food bowls; flea treatments; towels; blankets; building materials new or used; medical instruments and veterinary equipment; used clothing or other items for our garage sales.

A little money goes a long way - for example: US$100.00 makes a pen for 4 dogs, or spays 5 (female) animals. US$85 feeds all the present inmates for 2 days. US$70 will provide flea treatment for all the animals for one week. US$40 provides 2 multiple vaccinations.

AWARE is a registered non-profit organization in Guatemala, and a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation in the USA. Donations from the USA are 100% tax deductible.

We now have a link with the Peninsula Humane Society in San Francisco, California. They will take puppies and some adult dogs. We need people willing to donate the approximate US$200 cost of the paperwork and transportation of one adult dog, or US$300 for 2 puppies. Act today and change a life!
